Kody was given to Toronto Animals Services and was suspected of having a liver shunt.  At 8 months of age he weighed 5.5 lbs.  TAS called us and although Pugalug wasn't able to take him, Dagmar of the Pug Club of Canada's Rescue division did take him in.
Sadly, at 9 months of age, Kody (who we think is a pug/chihuahua mix) is in renal failure and there is nothing that can be done.  Dagmar will send him to the bridge on Saturday.
So a prayer and a candle for little Kody and a hug and a thank you to Dagmar.

The pictures are a months old from the shelter.  He's up to 8 lbs now, but loses weight almost immediately and is unable to stop peeing (he pees every 15 to 30 minutes).  This boy is from Quebec originally and is probably a puppy mill product.

A prayer will said in honour of little Kody, on Saturday!

I will ask Honey and Shy to be standing by, with all their friends who are up there.
Kody will have a great Welcoming and will be able to run and play as only a
little Pug Tot should!

Thanks to Dagmar for all that she has tried for this little guy!

A candle is lit for Kody, and a prayer of thanks is being said for his angel Dagmar.

Run free little guy, there will be quite a crowd waiting to welcome you at the Bridge. cry

Poor wee Kody.  It's moments likes these when I wish there was more veterinary medicine could do for little tykes like you.  Dagmar; thank you for taking such loving care of this wee man during his brief stay here.  He was a loved pug and blessed to have met you.

Poor little Kody.  We'll be thinking of him tomorrow.  At least he knew love and caring.  Thank you Dagmar.
