A friend of mine, who has a sweet little black pug and who lurks on the forum, suddenly lost her Bull Mastiff today. He was only 2.5 years old - he had a seizure outside and was gone. The vet said there was nothing that could have been done. I am in shock and devastated so I can only imagine how awful she, her husband and two children feel right now.

I am attaching an older picture of her gang - only Gerry the pug is left. Her Saint Bernard passed a while ago. Glenn (the mastiff) was a very lovely dog.

What a handsome Mastiff... such a shame and so shocking a loss. Please extend our sympathies to your friend.

I'll light a candle. How sad, to lose a dog so young and so suddenly.

Please pass on our condolences.  We are so sorry for them to loose Glenn that way - so quickly and so soon.
At lease now he is at the Bridge with his St. Bernard brother.

A candle is lit for him in Burlington

Thanks everyone - It's awful losing any animal but one so young and thought to be so healthy. They live on a farm outside of London. He had lots of space to play and run. His family loved him and he had his pug friend, two cats and goats as companions. At least he had a good quality though short life. She is going to call the breeder to let them know, so they can be on the look out and check up on his litter mates.
