Kilo's adoption is pending! Great news for the little pug man, it was a long wait, but it looks like furever is just around the corner!

Kilo went to his furever home on Tuesday. I talked to his adoptive mum today and she went on and on and on about how wonderful he is and how they are developing some routines together and how sweet he is and what a good boy he is and how he makes her smile and how wonderful he is and ... and ... and ... LOL. His journey was a long one but he hit the jackpot. His mum has had pugs before and lost her last one in December (old age). This will be one very spoiled puglet.
Once the foster mum made the decision and I received his application, the adopter's name rang a bell in my memory. After a couple of days, I realized that we were both members of the same golf club about 25 years ago!!! Small world, eh? Neither of us had pugs back then. So we were able to catch up on mutual friends today on the phone, in between gushing over Kilo. Knowing her, I know he will be well loved and looked after. Now that's what I call a "happy tail".

I should acknowledge Vera's donation that came in the mail this week. Along with a lovely thank you card, letting me know how will loved Kilo is, was a cheque for $1,000 to help with his past vet costs (of course, this money will now go to help Maisie)
