Emi is getting another urinalysis and we are hoping for no signs of crystals or infection. She will be almost ready to adopt if it is clear!

My Salvador has had worsening mobility and is going to see Dr. Miller at the VEC. He did a grade three Luxating Patella surgery on Sal a couple of years ago. It could be the pin inside his knee. If it isn't that, then we will need to see Dr. Cochrane, who did a neuro assessment 5 or 6 years ago. He had an MRI, back then and has bulging discs.
I'm just hoping the old man won't need further surgery, as he has had so many issues over the years.
Puggy thoughts for both of them, please!

Well. Emi is crystal free and has a normal ph balance! She needs to be on food that helps control that. So, I will be putting her in the ready to adopt by the weekend. She still needs to go see the neurologist, but that is just to re-check her mobility, which has become very stable.

Salvador has three pins in his knee, that was operated on two years ago. They appear to be in place and the surgeon feels his mobility issues are from his spine. I will be taking both Emi and Salvador to see the neurologist, in a few weeks. My thoughts are that the spinal problems that he has are just getting worse with age. He has lost muscle in his hind end, but doesn't appear to be in pain. So in the meantime, I will continue to carry both Emi and Salvador up and downstairs and give them rides in the stroller to the park.
