Unfortunately, Dodger's urinalysis came back with not great news.  He has had chronic bladder infections for years due to an early trauma.  Currently he has a really tough infection--that is resistant to most antibiotics--that requires pretty strong meds.  He's been on those meds and Debbie and Sandy have been doing a heroic job of keeping him medicated, sterilizing their home and generally have done a job that most of us couldn't do.  His most recent U/A shows that the meds haven't made much of an impact on the infection.  So Debbie and Sandy are working out a new plan of attack with their vet and I would just like everyone to think some healing thoughts for Dodger and send their blessings to Debbie and Sandy.

Sandy and Debbie, first it is so wonderful what you are doing for Dodger.  He deserves the very best and you have given that too him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Dodger knows what a great life he has with the two of you and we all know that only special people can help the ones that are in the greatest need.
