So I've been going over the links for doggie carts/wheels but would love feedback if anyone has used the eddies wheels or dog kart or any other.
I saw the eddies at the elgin pugnic and it looks good and easy ( big plus) and the dog moved around fine in it.
The cons is the fitting needs to be close to exact, and so this most likely would never fit another dog.
The dog kart is very adjustable but more involved for getting the dog into it ( Harley has very limited patience)
hmm, good thing he is still getting around kinda ok but definitely time to make a plan!
Any info would be appreciated!

Julie--
We had Mabel who was in a cart--not sure what company made it, but Canine Wellness is the place for getting one fitted here in Toronto.  Tania is great and knows her stuff.  I think she uses Eddie's most of the time.

Sigrid was Mabel's foster mom, maybe she could give you some insight into how complicated the kind Mabel used are to get them in and out of.

Mabel came with her cart and it actually wasn't fitted correctly.  I would seriously talk to Tania at CWC about what you need and are looking for.  She really does know her stuff and isn't shilling for any particular company.

Times like this I wish I still lived in the Toronto area!! I will most likely make the long drive to see Tania. She has the eddie's wheels link on her site so she must be happy with the product.
I wonder if Sigrid knows the make of the cart Mabel had? Blanche, was it easy to use? You said the fit wasn't correct, is a bit off an issue? If it is then the adjustable carts might not be the best?

I don't know the make of the cart--we actually donated it to Canine Wellness after Mabel died so that they could use it for another dog in need--Tania might know.  I think most of the carts require some jiggering to get the dog into it correctly.  I'd give Tania a call or email her (tania@caninewellness.com--or it might be .ca).  She'd be happy to answer any questions you have.  She also has a woman there--Paws Abilities--who makes prosthetics for animals.
