It is with a very heavy heart that I post that Nikko went to the Bridge today. His adopted mother, Melissa, has gone above and beyond in her efforts to bring him to full health, but the past history of unregulated diabetes had done too much damage.
We will post him in the "official" Rainbow Bridge section when Melissa is up to writing a tribute to him.
So send a hug to Melissa who adopted him and to Kim who fostered him twice. Both are broken hearted.
A candle is lit for a brave little pug who couldn't beat the odds one more time.

I just feel really sad about this. So much love and effort couldn't save his quality of life. My heart to your hearts, Kim & Melissa. Run and play medication free, Nikko, and eat anything you damn well want. We love you still.
