A year ago today we said good-bye to our beloved Murphy.  He was taken away from us at 15 months by PDE.  The disease, its complications and the medications wore Murphy out and he was no longer able to enjoy life.  We made the difficult decision to give him comfort and peace at the Rainbow Bridge.  It was the best we could do for him under the circumstances......and Murphy deserved the best.  Our little guy is never far from our thoughts and will always be in our hearts.

Below is the link to his Rainbow Bridge tribute.  If you click on it and scroll down you'll see a great picture of Murphy at the park, with a big grin on his face, enjoying life. Which is exactly how he ought to be remembered.

Hi Ben,
It's hard to believe it been a year already.  You know I know what you went through and how scary and difficult PDE is to live and deal with.  It is always hard to lose one of our little ones but he is in a safe place now.  We'll be thinking of all of you today.

Ben, your Murphy does look happy in that park picture and I'm sure he's looking just the same now

surrounded by plenty of his friends at The Rainbow Bridge.

They say time heals pain.  I don't believe that you can ever get over the loss of a loved one.  We go on knowing that they are free of the pain that burdened their lives and knowing that they are at peace. The picture is beautiful, what a wonderful way to remember him

It is always a heart wrenching decision and one that gets everyone at some point Smiley
Just the way he is now, playing with all his new found friends
at the Rainbow Bridge!

Keep the good memories always Smiley

Murphy looks like he loved the park.  Great big grin on his face.  I can't even imagine how difficult it was to let him go.  We'll light a candle in his memory.
