HOME is where the FAITH is

The cardiologist released Faith today....yippeeeeee She has her sutures removed in 2 weeks and a follow-up Echo in 12 weeks. She is on Metacam for the next 10 days, Tramadol for the next 10 days as well and 2 heart meds Prilium and Lasix until the Echo verifies that surgery was a complete success. We were told to keep her very quiet for the next 6 weeks to allow the chest muscles and ribs to heal, then only moderate exertion for another 6 weeks. How does one keep a puppy quiet???

Wonderful news! I think the meds will help keep Faith calm for now, but you know puppies, you will know when she is feeling better as she will become a handful, but that will be a great day! Then maybe an x-pen!

Great news! I'm so happy for both of you. You'll be so much happier having her with you. I hope she has a speedy recovery.

Colleen & Lori you can exhale now. I am so glad to see little Faith is at home and she's been able to rest outside on her lovely covered deck. Hoping she will be feeling her littleself soon and you will get some rest mentally and physically.
