Well it has been a while since Pugsley started on the Be 4 Grains.

Bubba aka "Hey Mikey", is enthusiastic and has had no side effects Smiley

Hey Lori,

Petunia was on the B4 Grains last summer. After a while her itchy ears started to come back like they had when she was on a food with grains so we put her on Orijen (now she and Penelope both eat Wellness Core). She tried all three flavours and I think she actually was mainly on the Chicken one so it sounds Pugsley is a unique boy  :D  We were turned on to B4 Grains by the Merrick people at Woofstock so maybe you can stop by and chat to them about it at their booth this year.

One of the reasons Tank can't eat any kibble is because of things like alfalfa, burdock, and other botanicals that are added.  It's good stuff and most dogs do fine, but Tank has seasonal allergies so most of the really good kibbles/canned add in the botanicals.  Tank is the "anti-nature" pug.  So I have to be really careful what goes into any food he eats.  If humans have hay fever reactions to it, then I know Tank can't eat it.

I'd be suspicious of the botanicals.

Both my Pugsley & Wesley can't tolerate bison.  The rest don't have a problem with it.

I'm was leaning towards the botanicals too, Blanche, but then the chicken and salmon have the same stuff and Pugsley "seems" to be okay with those 2; just not the bison

Pugsley's  eye flared up again today, due mostly to the wind outside which has been pretty bad Sad Sad   or (stupid memory stuff - why can't the grey cells get it together)   Smiley
