Yep--I'm pretty relieved.  If he can get the dad to cave on the bed thing, then he's in like flint (flinn?).  The mom, Andrea, thinks his "I'm getting tired" thing is cute beyond words--he gets all blinky eyed and looks like a tired little toddler and makes sad little noises.  She calls it the "baby eyes".  Sounds like he's well on his way to having the humans nicely under control.  The resident pug is still being a hard sell and peed on Chance the other day to express his displeasure.

Chance knows what side his bread is buttered on.... and set to work to ensure his place.

The other pug is just jealous of Chance's street smarts. Wise boy that pug.

Honestly, I'd have bet my very last nickle that Chance wouldn't have ended up in the bed,  much less with dad.
