not sure if this is the area for this, but here we go
well just got back from the Vet and all is well with our pack.
well sort of.
Sydney our non-pug has been diagnosed with MS.
we thought it was just old age, since he has been losing his balance lately and sometimes his back legs were giving out on him.
he is 13 years old, so we thought arthritis...not.
we will start him on some supplements the vet recommended and go from there.
I am a firm believer in Quality over quantity.

Aaw Chris , I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know much about MS... is it loss of muscle control?

Hopefully the supplements will help ease Sydney's condition.

I'm sure you'll do all you can to give your Sydney the quality of life that he deserves. Wishing you the best.

Hopefully the supplements will help and the MS progress very slowly and not have too much effect on Sydneys quality of life.

WOW!  very impressive, Chris, most of the herbals recommended are what I already give to my guys Smiley

Although Sydney's ailment is not arthritis or perhaps a bit of it, the Lakota may help him out as well. Worth looking into.

My guys also get the primrose 1/daily, Vit E taken with Cod liver oil  1/daily, plus the Vit C as ascorbic acid, B vit's in the form of B50 and most of the others that the University advises.

Very very good report and one which I will archive for others to be able to read and keep available.
Thank you!

I send best wishes that this helps Sydney out! Smiley

   I'm so sorry to hear about Sydney. You know that I think he's very, very special and my all time favorite non pug.  Hugs to you and Sydney and keeping fingers and paws crossed that the meds give him some relief.

Well shoot.  Poor Sydney.

I hope that he gets some relief from the meds.  And I'm with you--it's quality not quantity that counts--especially when they get older.
