Phew Candace, how much more can a pug mom take!!  So glad to hear that the Mookster is on the mend.  I was wondering what type of probiotic do you give him?

Deb, it's a combination digestive enzyme and probiotic called Acute Care. I also have used other probiotics before, as long as they are the higher quality ones sold in the refridgerated section of health food stores.

Thanks Candace, if you could give me the measurements that would  be great.  We've been having trouble balancing out Phoebe's tummy since all the anal sac infections she had last year and the antibiotics.  At the moment we are putting FortiFlora from the Vet's on top of her breakfast.  I'd rather give her some good yoghurt as a treat if that would be just as good.

The Acute Care is about 1/2 tsp. twice a day. Probiotics would be similar. I had a powder form and gave 1/2 tsp.

Glad the pugman is feeling better..an unhappy Puggy at either end is not a good thing....
Deb I offer Activia for our guys with tummy issues....and it tastes really good...Nancy who you met at handling class uses it for her dogs as well.
