Mocha

First, there was Mocha going to emerg. a couple of weeks ago for the cluster seizures.
Then today, I came home to barf and liquid poos all over the house. Mookie was sitting in the kitchen, shaking. His tail was down. Everyone else greeted me as normal.
He had thrown up 8 or 9 times and pooped a bunch too.
I called the vet, as I was concerned he had a pointy piece of a bone stuck in his intestines. All the dogs had bones yesterday and Mookie got hold of a piece that I wouldn't normally give him, as he gulps things down.
Anyway, I started getting him ready to go to the vets and he turns into his normal excited 'are we going for a walk, are we! are we!' self.
We did go to the vet and she felt his belly. Verdict.....there's more liquid poo to come.
I have stuff to give him and if he throws up again, he needs to go back tomorrow for an x-ray.
Just give a little extra thoughts to my Mookie, that it is just a little bug and not a blockage or tear.

We have success! He didn't barf or have a bowel movement, all last night or today, so I was a bit worried that he had a blockage. I let him out when I got home from work (I don't know why my daughter hadn't!!!) and he did his business.
So I guess it was just a stomach upset. Dr. Mommy decided not to go with the antibiotics from the vet and take a wait and see approach. He got some Acute Care, digestive enzyme and probiotic, last night and today. He is well on the way to being back to normal.
Thanks for the good thoughts!
