My daughters boyfriend has a 21 week old bull mastiff puppy who found himself something he shouldn't have. They have to wait until the vet removes it to find out what it is. He is in surgery now to remove it from his intestines. Please send positive thoughts for this big "little" baby boy.

Oh Ollie - hope they find out what this foreign mc foreigny bodily pants is and wishing you a smooth recovery!
Pugsley would like to send out a message to you that I'm relaying - "Hi Ollie! I swallowed foreign bodies before - TWICE! Once, I brought it back up - a tip of a Kong!!! It was the tip of a big red Kong too. Mommy has absolutely no idea how that happened because those kong aren't supposed to be that breakable. I'm only allowed to have black Kongs now. And the next time, I was playing with a friend and felt really hungry and decided to swallow part of his toy whilst mommy wasn't looking. I felt icky for a few days but when I got it removed (also from my intestines), I felt A-OK and loved my food again! Hopefully, you will feel A-OK soon too!"
Paws & fingers crossed Ollie!

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Ollie (which by the way is one of my favorite names for a pet....my big old fat cat Ollie lived to the ripe old age of 17)

Oh, good thoughts to Ollie and his Daddy.
Ada has a message too - "Hi Ollie! I luv to eat stuff too! My Mommy and Daddy don't trust me tho so I'm always getting caught. I ate stuff and made myself sick too but I managed to poo it out with the help of some medicine, it was a bunch of sticks. I don't like to chew stuff, he he. I hope you feel better soon! Luv Ada."

Thank you everyone for your kind thought and prayers. Ollie is recovering at the vets, and told he should be fine. They retrieved one of Sully's babies from his belly, a little yellow fluffy bird that was relatively new since it was still fluffy. A few weeks ago I tried to grab it from his mouth and he swallowed it before I got there. I am feeling terrible now since it happened at my house. I told him as soon as it happened and told him to watch for it to come out, if it didn't call the vet. My daughter Alyssa told his mother and she laughed, Alyssa said to watch for it. I asked every time he came over did the bird come out yet? know I did what I should but still feel terrible. Since that day I put anything of Sully's up so it would never happen again. I need to get past this and focus on, Ollie is recovering, it could have been much worse. Maybe shelling out $1500 will make them a little more cautious and learn how serious it is when they swallow something.

I agree with Lori, Pam. This isn't your fault and I'd be willing to bet the vet bills (or even the entire outcome for Ollie) could have been a lot worse if you didn't keep after Ollie's people.
