Hilary and I are trying to put together a raw feeding seminar for sometime in May.  this would be at my house and I would limit registration to no more than 15 people.
It would be largely focussed on the making of raw, but will cover pre-prepared raw as well.
Assuming there is enough interest, I can work out a date and time with Hilary--likely on the weekend, mid afternoon.
Many of us do feed raw, but it is not "rescue endorsed" so to speak.  I.E. we don't require foster folks or adopters to feed raw.  There are still quite a few vets that strenuously dislike raw (although I started feeding raw many years ago on a vet's advice).  It's still surprisingly controversial and shifting to a raw diet is an owner's personal choice.
Anyway, if this is of interest to you, please email me at blanche.axton@gmail.com and I will begin to see about organizing this.

As I just suggested in another thread, maybe we can videotape these for later posting so that people that don't/can't attend can still get the benefit from them ... I'd be glad to volunteer my time, equipment and knowhow to make it happen.

Lemme know thoughts on this .. I'm thinking for something like this it wouldn't be overly difficult gear wise, a couple of cameras and mics ... all of which I can supply and run for the presentation.

Yep we will be there (Carolyn, Bugsy and I).  Now that we've derailed the original thread, back to the previous program :)

Thanks Lori.  Chester's personality is every bit as adorable as his wrinkly face.  I got the idea of including the link to his info in my signature from Candace and I just love that picture of him.  I can't take credit for taking the picture though, it was the transport team that snapped the best pictures of him.

Mark, I've got the program recorded on my Rogers pvr.  Is there any way to get it off the harddrive in the pvr and onto the computer?

That one I don't know :(

Lori ... can we split this topic to a new one from the point where you and I derailed it to talk about the video? :D

Yes indeed, you will.  I want make up, heels and a Mrs. Cleaver dress with apron......
Maybe you can start practicing your Julia Child voice as well.
