I know this is a "pug"alug forum but I feel that our other furry friends and human friends alike deserve some well wishes too.  Pride, the border collie, I've been training for College Royal is a bit limpy gimpy.  It happened last week and his owner found him limping after she got home from work.  She thinks he either did something at home or hurt himself while with the dog walker.  Anyways, he's been having a bit of hollistic therapy and will be getting some radiographs done today b/c he's still limpy.  In the mean time, let's give some get-well wishes to our big boy Pride in hopes that he will get better soon!  :D

Aw, poor boy.  I hope that the radiographs show nothing serious and he is back to his spritely self soon.

Adrienne, do you think Pride will be OK in time for your school dog show and All About Pets?
I guess the radiographs will tell... I hope it's nothig to worry about.

You're absolutely right.  It depends on the severity of the problem.  I think he gets rads done today.

Any word on the results of the tests?  Will Pride be able to do your show with you?

I remembered wrong and he's actually getting a vet check this wednesday (for rads).  I will keep you all updated.  I phoned up his owner today and she said he wasn't doing that well this morning Smiley I will be sure to let the Shmooey know

So rads were done and there was no apparent fluid build-up or broken bones in there.  Pride will have to be on "bed-rest" with minimal activity for a week and ultrasounds will be done to look for any signs of possible torn ligaments, etc.  So unfortunately, I will have to withdraw him from the show Cheesy and it works out well because one of my friends is dying to handle LadyBug in beginner's for CR next year.

Thanks for all your well wishes!  :)

Aw, poor Pride.  I'm sorry you'll have to withdraw from the show.   :(   I hope that Pride recovers well.
