Ah, I guess I didn't realize it was *supposed* to get stringy like that. It was pretty early on, so I would probably know better now. Maybe there's bully hope for these guys yet. :)

We are using Rollover rawhides large size bones.  They are digestible, made from pork hide, don't have any nasty preservatives and take a long time to chew even for Teddy who is a fiendish chewer,  I never leave them alone with them and once a 'goopy or stringy part' appears I cut it off with the kitchen scissors.   The company is Canadian eh, the home page is more or less a catalogue.

Alright... I have to admit that I didn't know WHAT a bully stick was until about 30 seconds ago when I googled.   :shock:   Tongue   :?:   :wink:  I will have to pick up one or two on the weekend for a treat.

We used to give Darwin the roll over ones but he always somehow managed to pull them to pieces!  We would find little pieces of the compressed hide all over the place.  Drove me crazy :twisted:  but I love the idea of them!
