Wow.... quite the production, but it looks good. So Lori, do they eat anything else? Or are they vegepuggies? I thought raw really referred to raw meats, not necessarily raw veggies....
I feed raw veggies/fruits but only as snacks....

LOL! this is only the beginning that usually takes us a whole day! I buy enough chicken to grind up and freeze for about 4 - 5 months! notice the longevity........if I had to do this every week, sheesh Royal Oma would too! I'm clearing out the beans and rice that we had left over from last fall. When that is gone the boys will be totally grain and wheat free it sure has made a difference

Lori, I'm amazed at the lengths you go to in preparing food for your Babies plus you've even calculated the daily cost (including bags!) AND taken photos for us as well! What a good Pug Momma you are! Your Mom is pretty special helping you out too, but after all she is Bubba and Pugsley's Grandpugma!
I've read other posts in this forum referring to raw food preparation and it's quite an admirable effort you all make...good for you!
What difference have you noticed?

Maureen Hi Maureen, I think that I have noticed my Vet bill isn't out of this world I see more in Bubba. When I first got him and the ladies.. they were a mess! Bubba had the rusty fur look under his eyes and around the lower muzzle area Sooooo, right now we do up the veggies and raw chicken to last for a bit. That much time I can do and plan for Lori

That's quite a production line. Nice that your mom helps! I usually just do two containers of veggies that last about a week each and I buy the ground meat and bones. That's enough work for me!

Ah Candace, been there and done that with one and when the 3 adoptees came along and I was doing four meals twice a day..... Whew! it was getting to be too much like work! I just could not find the time to put out on a weekly basis  Ahem, Mom too! Lori

Could you lend me your Mom? I have to do that all by myself. I make big batches of veggies and freeze them also but mine don't last as long as yours with all the mouths I have to feed. I wonder what they think when I go out shopping and come home with massive amounts of spinach, one of any type of squash they have and anything else I can think of to throw in. You know they eat better than we do when I'm willing to pay top price for out of season fruits and veggies but the humans aren't allowed to eat them.

When I had the ladies to feed as well, I bought more vegetables, the bucket you see is enough for the boys, we used to do 2 of these for four I know from how they looked when I got them, to their last days, the difference made by feeding them premium food Even now, I count my blessings with Pugsley, when I wake up and find him still breathing, I give a sigh of relief and thank the food that keeps him going I honestly do not know if it is the food......... but I do know that Vet visits and problems were few and far between! So, I will be back to doing up the veggies by myself once the house is done! Mom might be for hire I'm sure that would tickle her pink  especially the older ones, when I buy chicken for the puggies LOL! They wonder why I'm buying massive amts of chicken in the winter (they don't ask in the summer as it is BBq season)!!!

Lori - how many meals do you make at one time? My record is 134 breakfasts which still only lasts me just under 3 weeks (134 divided by 7 pugs). I don't have the rubber containers for any more nor room in the freezer. Nor do I think I would have the energy to make any more at one time.
People are amazed at "how much work" we go to, but if it's not really if you consider how long it lasts. It takes me about an hour to make all these portions, an amount that would last one pug over 4 months. I have to do it so frequently only because of the number of hungry pugs in the house.

I get weird looks when I buy every package of chicken backs, chicken necks, turkey necks and packages of organ meats. I feel I have to explain or they'll think I eat it.
