Hello fellow Pugaluggers, I'm so excited to become the Silent Auction Coordinator and I'm looking forward to the challenges that go along with it.

Little did a know that when I met a delightful pug on the patio of my favorite Starbucks, that one day I would have one of my own, hence "1pugforme". I now have Lotus Blossom (AKA Miss Bossy Blossy) thanks to Colleen and Lori and a grandpuggy Lilo a rescue pug who lives with my daughter in Connecticut. My first Pugalug was in May 2007 and what an experience that was for me, I talked about it for days. All the pug owners made us feel so welcome and we had the chance to meet Blossom's brother Thomas and sister Vita.

I look forward to working with the other coordinators, this is a learning experience for all of us and together we will make fund a success. I've heard that we have an excellent array of raffle and auction items, so I hope everyone can join us at the upcoming events. But, yes there is always a but....we need your help...it could be in the form of a donation, raffle or silent auction item, suggestion and ideas. Do you have a special talent for making the best brownies or cookies or even dog treats...why not make a few extra batches for us.  A creative flare...help us put together gift baskets...every little bit will help and remember "Ask not what your pug can do for you but what you can do for your pug".

Again I'm looking forward to working and meeting everyone.

Jean

PS:I live in Mississauga, if you have an item you would like to donate please feel free to PM me.

I forgot to mention that I also have two other silent auction items--some kind of router for a computer (which when my husband saw it and started drooling--ifigured it was a good thing).  And I have one of the garden stones from Pugapalooza which has stained glass in it--of a pug--really a nice piece.
