That's so scary!  We couldn't make it to the one last week and were going to go to the one this Sunday, but school projects have taken hold here, so I was waiting and hoping we would be further along inorder to go. Wow! Hope they get better!  Really sorry to here...

My guys have had kennel cough a few times. It has always been mild and they have not been treated.
If they are able to breath okay, don't have tons of goop coming out their noses, etc. I would wait. It's kind of like colds and viruses in people....too much antibiotics aren't so good, but can be neccesary if it gets really bad.
Everything always happens on the weekend, doesn't it.

Hi Melvin and Pinky Sad
I've only ever had it once in my lifetime and I really do not think Bubba has had it, at least that is what our Mum says!
I know how you guys are feeling and it isn't pleasant coughing up a lung!
Mum wasn't too thrilled with it either, said it made her hair go even grayer than normal everytime I coughed and she felt very helpless, not knowing how to make me feel better Smiley :)

Mr. Pugs and Bubba and Mum too!

So sorry Melvin & Pinky are sick    It's so hard to see our babies not feeling well.

I agree with Candace.  If they start to have a hard time breathing, bring them in to the Vet.

Sending healing thoughts your way

Thanks for asking they are both doing much better. Didn’t slow them down for a minute. Melvin had it worse than Pinky he was always coughing up and a lot at night. Pinky was only coughing up a lung when she was excited. Melvin was still coughing a bit today so no trick or treating for them tonight. It was funny as I took my son out trick or treating many people asked where they were as they couldn’t wait to see the costumes. Now time to plan for next year or we might have to dress up for Pug Claus!
