The Super Pug Walkathoners raised roughly
$10,000

I can't begin to thank everyone who contributed - large and small to this - our most successful fundraiser ever.

And to our volunteers who helped to raise an additiontianl $750 at the booth through donations and merchandise sales.

I've got a lot of work to do but wanted everyone to know the good news.

We raised $265 and met a lot of great pugs and pug owners. But more importantly we got a chance to spread the word about what pug rescue is all about.

Sherry Johnstone, who organizes the Eglin Pugnic, had a surplus from this year's event. In the past they have raised enough money to cover the expenses.

Sherry decided that the surplus this year will be donated to Pugalug Pug Rescue. Everyone was pleased to see us at the Pugnic that Sherry felt supporting pug rescue is what the attendees would want.

Thanks to Hugh for hosting a wonderful event. Lots of great costumes. I had a terrific time and took a few pictures so I'll put together a photo album. The 519 pugalug raised $110 in tote/t-shirt sales and donations.

Last Thursday, the South Coast Pugalug met for theiir first time. They had a total of 7 pugs (and a mini-pin) attend. They talked about the website, shared information and raised $50 through the sale of merchandise.

A reporter showed up from the local paper and they will be doing a story on pugalugs and pug rescue.

Thanks to Lori Broughton and Louise Viersen for this effort and help with pug rescue. It is a great little beginning that will grow over time.

Hi Everyone,

We had our first annual London Pugoween and it was a huge success! There were about 20 pugs and many more people who all enjoyed the great weather today and seeing all the costumes.

Many thanks to Greg Merchant and his wife, Margaret for leading the charge on organizing the first ever London Pugalug event. We raised a total of $150!!!

Yes, the volunteers were fabulous - and were instrumental in making this the smoothest running pugoween we've had. We were able to handle a huge crowd of people and pugs, - decorate, run the raffle, souvenir photos, calendar sales, vendors, cake and costume contest - and it was all due to the dedicated work of the volunteers.

We raised, after expenses, approximately, $1,800 - so our hospice program - The Pug Abode - is off and running with little Mabel and her cart.

I will put up Mabel's page on Tuesday.

Krysta and the volunteers raised $1,054 today. Thanks to everyone who helped and especially Krysta who got the pug rolling and saw everything through to the finish.

There were about 40 to 50 pugs who came out to play.

Krysta will be sending me photos and I'll put up an album when I get back.
