On friday I had to put my beloved kitty Sweet Pea to sleep. It was horrible. The hardest decision that I've ever had to make. I know that it was the right thing to do, but that didn't make it any easier. She went very peacefully, and I'm just glad that it's over. My whole family went with me, so that really helped. My husband cried so hard. He never cries. We are having her cremated so that she can always be with us. Run and play at the bridge my darling Sweet Pea.....

I am so sorry, this is the hardest part with having furbabies. Sending a MEOW to your Sweet Pea at the bridge.

Rosemary, I'm so sorry to hear about Sweat Pea. It's always so hard when we lose them. I had to make that decision for my Jazzie and while it's incredibly painful I'm sure you did the right thing by her.

I'm sorry for your loss. Its amazing how much it can hurt even when you have never met someones little one...we all know how we would feel in your shoes.
You made the right decision and soon you will be able to concentrate on the happy memories.

I too, have been through that with two of my cats. It is very hard, but I am sure you made the right decision for Sweet Pea.

I'm very sorry for your loss...it's so hard when a beloved friend goes. I'm sure you did what's best for Sweet Pea, but it's so sad to have to make that decision.

I am so sorry to hear about Sweet Pea. We have 2 pussycats we adore too. I have also been through this in the past and it is never easy. You are a very kind-hearted and strong person to do the right thing for her.

Peace be with you...has I read this my Jimmy is laying on my lap..not something he does very often. I was able to hug him and wish Sweet Pea a happy journey. He'll be at the bridge waiting for you.

ya letting go after so many years is so hard..ive had caesar for 4 amazing years and every not and then a thought comes to mind " what am i gonna do when he dies?" i start to freak internally.. just the thought of it hurts
im glad your family was the support for you.

Rosemary, you've had a hard go recently. Sweet Pea will know you loved her enough at the end to let her go peaccefully. Know that your friends here are with you and send pug hugs to you and your family.
