Ike had his eye surgery yesterday to repair his corneal ulcer. They also removed a growth from his upper lid and did a bit of work on his fold near his eye. The vet said he did very well. He was pretty dopey when we brought him home, but had his appetite and stills feels he is owed his breakfast from yesterday.
We went for a short walk last night which was pretty awful, but this morning it went much better. He is still getting used to his cone, but doing pretty well over all.
I think we will just cuddle and nap the rest of the weekend.

poor Ikey. The cone is the worst part, I think. Hazel hated it and used it for some pretty innovative revenge tactics.

I hope he is feeling a bit better. It is harder on the humans, than the pug. They always take things in stride.
