I wasn't sure where to put this so I'm putting it here. Joan Weston is one of our foster parents, runs bull dog rescue, is a fabulous trainer and behaviourist for dogs and an all around great gal (IMHO). She has had bulldogs forever and has a couple of pugs--one of them from Pugalug. She recently lost her old bulldog Pot Roast. If you have ever been to the SuperDogs--you have seen Joan and her bullies. You have have probably seen Pot Roast--AKA Potty. Pot Roast was featured on Dogs In Canada recently (couple of months ago) and is known far and wide for his presence and goofiness. I got an email last night from Joan and her spouse, Jaime, that they had finally let Pot Roast go to the Bridge. A candle is lit in my house for a grand old bulldog.

Very sorry to hear this news! Pot Roast was such an amazing man indeed! How old was he when he passed on, do you know? I think he really changed the way people see Bulldogs. He was on animal Housecalls and I had seen him in different Canadian magazines and newsletters. Quite a celebrity!
