I am hoping it is OK to put this post here...cradled in my arms our dear Zoe crossed the Bridge to her awaiting sister Zsu...Zoe had several health issues the past 4 years..most recently she began faltering and appeared seemingly "lost" in her familiar surroundings....the vet thought she was having tia's...she took a nasty tumble this week-end and just lay in the yard a "spirit broken"....I made the decision to let her go...she will be missed...we adopted Zoe and Zsu from an all breed rescue six years ago...Zsu was a strong alpha personality and Zoe was the sweet door greeter who had a "whoooooo whooooo" and a full body wag for every human she met...she will be so very missed...

Oh my goodness....I am so sorry to hear this. Zoe will be with her sister and all of our fur-children that have passed over the Bridge. A candle will be lit tonight here in Halifax to help her find her way over the Bridge.

Broken Chain.
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
That is beautiful. Going for tissues now.
