I am shocked to hear that Barbaby has been returned.
If anyone can turn things around Larry you can do it.

I looked at Zoey's happy tail, and it was mentioned there. Then I checked Barnaby's happy tail, and it had been updated with the latest as well.  |

it's SO GOOD that they returned him to larry though. and great that they got to adopt zoey! maybe barnaby just wanted to stay with larry? he does have chicken weiner treats!

Ruby you might have a point there with the chicken winners if Larry gives my Moses chicken winners he might want to leave home and move in with Larry also so I have to make sure Moses does not get any chicken winners otherwise I might loose my precious boy.  |

Larry, this is truly a hearbreaking situation but a learning experience for all of us who are still relatively new to rescue. The emotions you face must be overwhelming. You know we have broad shoulders you can lean on.

Barnaby will be leaving us tomorrow at 6 pm. Please send a good thought his way. He is quietly sleeping by my foot, feet splayed open, chin resting on the floor as try to post this.
Tonight he had 2 big chicken drumsticks, plus some Tripett New Zealand Lamb Tripe (his favourite)
For desert he had a Healthy Paws Beef Brisket Bone.
I wish circumstances in my life were different and I could keep him safe. As you have read the situation we have with him, it is not to be. Every rescue faces this situation and tough decisions have to be made. We can only hope that there is an understanding and forgiveness in their hearts at having to make those decisions.
