Jem & Geeg

Jem & Geeg are off to Grandma's house for a weekend of food, excitement and sleeping on big bed at Casa Spoiled Rotten. Grandma will continue to try to win Geeg's heart with neverending treats (like Tubs needs 'em!) and Jem and his buddy Pepper will run and run and run and run and...well, you get the idea.  Grandma picks them up tonight and drops them off Sunday afternoon (how's THAT for service!) and let the pug-love-fest begin!  For a woman who claims NOT to like pugs ("10 lbs of s**t in a 5 lb bag", says mom), she really does treat her grandpugs right!  Betcha they don't even miss me while they're gone.  Smiley

Wellll...Mom says Geeg was a doll...good as gold.  And Jem?  Jem was a pisser.  Literally.  Wore a belly band all weekend long since he couldn't stop wizzing on EVERYTHING.  Other than that, the puggies had a great time.  Thank goodness for grandma babysitters!

But at least Jem & his buddy Pepper didn't get into a snarly face this time.  And from what I'm hearing, Geeg actually accepted grandma pets and gave kisses.  Smiley  She's a good girl, my Geeg...just a fraidy-Geeg.  Smiley

And Jemmie is fine without boys but he and Pepper play "you can't pee on MY stuff!" a lot.  Quite frankly, i don't know why he even needs the belly band.  When I'm at my parent's house, i send Jem & Pepper outside every 1/2 hr to an hour and they pee all over everything, chase squirrels and come back inside empty.  But mom has issues with getting pugs to do bathroom business, too.  She just CANNOT fathom a dog you have to babysit while it goes outside.  Welcome to pug-world.  She'll get it eventually...or she'll keep cleaning up pug-messes.  Smiley

And Blanche- LOVE the Meesh-face!

Yeah--some people just don't get the "supervision is crucial" deal.  You've said that before re. your mom.  Oh well.  If she likes cleaning up pee, she's going about it the right way.....
