Breakout Queens - We need Pledges!! HOORAH!

« on: January 17, 2012, 08:24:57 PM »

I am going to put this on tonite to let everyone know and will post later in the week
with some pics of my little guy!

We had a terrible week and I knew he was failing. I was hoping to be able to get
him to the Vets today (and I did) but not the way I was hoping.

So this morning early while I was at work, I lost my heart and soul.

Run to the Bridge, my little man........

So sorry to read this Lori, knowing how much he meant to you. Your really gonna miss him, but realize you had him a long, long time, perhaps longer than many puggies get to live, so you were fortunate in that sense, because you got to spend many years together. He was such a part of your life for so long and ours too, by reading about him in your posts and seeing him at the Pugalugs, he will be missed very much. Hoping the big guy all the best and happiness where he is now. The hardest part for you will not having him there to share your daily life with like a companion or partner, so sorry he is gone, but I hope you find peace and can persevere on...

I am so very sorry, Lori.  You knew it was coming one day soon but you are never ready, are you?  What a trouper he was!  Write down all his quirks and happy times you remember so you can go over and over it in the future.  It will help.  Hugs, Hilary

Lori; what a big loss.  I am truly very sorry to hear this but, as difficult as this decision was, I am sure that you made the right one.  Your time together was precious.  He will always be in your heart.

Pugsley - you are in good company.

My heart is breaking for you Lori but please take comfort in knowing that at least Pugs won't get stuck anymore. You did everything you could for him and then some and them some more. You were both so lucky to have had each other in your lives.

Still remember his 16th birthday like it was yesterday, the cupcakes, the carrots, the fun. Here's a few photos from that day, just a small remembrance. Again, very sorry he's gone Lori ...
